The original cover of Dawn and the Impossible Three was restored for the edition placed inside the Retro Tin boxed set. I have placed my 1987 original on the left and the 2018 reprint on the right.
The 2018 reprint editions are slightly larger and heaver than the 1986-87 original editions. The font inside is larger and bolder as well. In real life, the picture on the cover has a slight fuzzy appearance as though it was scanned from the original and not taken from a primary source.
Each book has the fill in notebook pages and character photo scrapbook pages from the 1996 reprints.
