The original cover of Kristy's Big Day was restored for the edition placed inside the Retro Tin boxed set.  I have placed my 1987 original on the left and the 2018 reprint on the right.

The 2018 reprint editions are slightly larger and heaver than the 1986-87 original editions.  The font inside is larger and bolder as well.  In real life, the picture on the cover has a slight fuzzy appearance as though it was scanned from the original and not taken from a primary source.

Kristy's books include a page at the end with some facts about the series (print run and copies sold, etc.) and has the fill in notebook pages and character photo scrapbook pages from the 1996 reprints.
