Mary Anne Saves The Day 2018

The original cover of Mary Anne Saves the Day was restored for the edition placed inside the Retro Tin boxed set. I have placed my 1987 original on the left and the 2018 reprint on the right.

The 2018 reprint editions are slightly larger and heaver than the 1986-87 original editions. The font inside is larger and bolder as well. In real life, the picture on the cover has a slight fuzzy appearance as though it was scanned from the original and not taken from a primary source.

Each book has the fill in notebook pages and character photo scrapbook pages from the 1996 reprints.

Still shrink wrapped. Includes the first 6 Baby-Sitters Club books: Kristy's Great Idea, Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls, The Truth About Stacey, Mary Anne Saves The Day, Dawn and the Impossible Three, and Kristy's Big Day.

The original 1986-1987 covers have been restored on these editions.

The sides of the tin features the original covers repeated.

The bottom of the tin once the shrink-wrap is removed and blurb paper detached.

Mary Anne and Too Many Boys

I can understand why they'd give Mary Anne a more conservative bathing suit for the reprint, but I don't understand what they did with her hair! The pigtails in the original cover suited Mary Anne!
